What’s it all about?

New at Blue Planet

'Under the Sea' is a fun lesson aimed at children aged 4-8 years old. The sessions dives into the diverse and exciting underwater world looking at what animals we can find under the sea, and what features they have to help them live there.

The class will use a range of resources to explore their existing knowledge and imagination.

The 'Under the Sea' classroom session includes:

  • Two hands on activities
  • Group work
  • Demonstrations
  • Question and answer session

Learning objectives for this lesson:

  • To discover the type of animals that inhabit our seas, where they live and what they eat.

Learning outcomes for this lesson:

  • To understand what lives under the sea and can also live on land.
